A Project under National Mission on Education through Information and  Communication  Technology  of  Ministry of  Human  Resource Development Government of India

The Quantum-Nano Centre is a multidisciplinary centre at Dayalbagh Educational Institute, Agra set up under MHRD National Mission on Education through ICT, with partners as IIT Kanpur, IIT Delhi and IIT Madras, besides several international collaborators. With a focus on the rapidly growing area of quantum-nano computing and quantum information sciences, the Quantum-Nano Centre provides an environment for scientists and mathematicians to explore the fundamental physical characteristics of quantum systems, to devise and implement prototype quantum computers, and to develop quantum algorithms and novel applications. Through a vigorous program of lectures, seminars, and workshops, the Centre stimulates intellectual exchange among students, faculty, and academic partners.

Our mission is to aggressively explore and advance the application of quantum-nano systems to a vast array of relevant information processing techniques. We will accomplish this by creating a truly unique environment that fosters cutting-edge research and collaboration between researchers in the areas of computer science, engineering, mathematical, chemical and physical sciences.
