The rapidly changing technological scenario around the world requires us to continuously and tirelessly strive to maintain pace with these changes.

After fifty seven years of its glorious existence and steady growth, the DEI Faculty of Engineering today is a world class institute, fulfilling a critical global need viz. enlightened individuals having sound technical knowledge, with a universal vision of "Fatherhood of God & Brotherhood of Man". Coming years are likely to see an increased leadership role of the Faculty especially in the context of Higher Technical Education in India.

Spotlight

Established in 1950 as Dayalbagh Engineering College by Most Revered His Holiness Mehtaji Maharaj in response to the country's needs for trained technical manpower. Integrated into DEI (Deemed University) in the year 1981 as Faculty of Engineering. Some highlights of the Faculty are -
 Recognized by AICTE and UGC. Government funded.
 No Capitation Fee.

- Four Emeritus Professors joined the Faculty.
- One senior faculty member awarded DST's Ramanna Fellowship-2006.
- Prof. V. Prem Pyara, Head Electrical Engineering Department, took charge as the Dean of the Faculty on June 1, 2007.
