Dr. Devgan
is interested in research in the areas of Educational Psychology,
Child Psychology, Women Education, Child Development, Pre-School
Teacher Education and Home Science. She has published are 22
research papers/articles in journals like Primary Teacher (NCERT),
Journal of Adhunik Bharteeya Shikshan (NCERT), Indian Journal of
Psychology and Indian Journal of Psychometry and Education. She has
contributed 3 chapters in books entitled Role of Parents Education
in Breast Feeding Weaning Practices in the book – Parental Behaviour,
Welfare Development and Empowerment of Women in the book - Women
Welfare and Empowerment in India – Vision of 21st Century
and Attitude of Adolescents Towards Modernization and its Impact on
their Social Conformity in the book – Excellence in Home Science.
Her Ph.D. Abstract is published in Educational Survey (M.B.Buch).
She has been
working for 26 years in Faculty of Education, DEI. She is executive
member of FOERA- A Research Journal of DEI. She was member of
organizing committee for various national level workshops organized
by Faculty of Education, DEI. She is member of All India Association
of Educational Research (AIAER), Indian Journal of Teacher
Education, Research Reach Journal of Home Science, Home Science
Association of India, System Society of India, DEI Chapter and
Alumni Association of Dayalbagh Educational Institute (AADEI’s).
She has judged various competitions and worked as examiner for tests
related to Home Science. |
