The University Science and Instrumentation Centre (USIC) comprises of three sections: Electronics, Mechanical and Glass Blowing. The centre undertakes repair, maintenance, design, fabrication, and upgradation work for the entire Institute. Besides this it offers training programmes for students and staff through regular short courses and advanced work experience courses on Computers and Peripherals and Basic Scientific Glass Blowing. At present, a Virtual Instrumentation facility is also being developed at the centre.
