The Post Graduate Diploma in Computer Science and Applications (PGDCSA) is designed for students with a degree who are interested in computer applications. This course is also suitable for engineering graduates who are interested in making their career in the IT sector.
Dayalbagh Educational Instituteoffers in the campus a full time Post Graduate Diploma in Computer Science & Applications (PGDCSA) programme. The duration of the program is one year divided into two semesters; the course covers varying topics. This programme is now offered in the distance mode also. The sanctioned strength per Study Center is 10 students.
The following courses are included in the curriculum: An introduction to computers, data structures, software engineering, computer networks and DBMS. These courses provide fundamental knowledge about computers and programming languages like C, C++, JAVA, SQL, Advanced Java etc. These instill confidence in a student to take up challenges and to carve out a bright future in his professional life.
The PGDCSA programme also includes computer-based projects on recent problems, which provide confidence to check their programming and analytical skills. The summer training program assists the students to work and learn in real environment. It also trains students to become future successful IT professionals.
