Surat Kavia, a dynamic and accomplished professional, is currently serving as a Guest Faculty at Department of Accountancy & Law, Faculty of Commerce at DEI Agra with 6 years of teaching experience. With an outstanding academic record, she secured All India Rank 12 in the Company Secretary examination and successfully cleared the UGC-NET in December 2018 and June 2019. Apart from holding qualifications in Accounting Technician Course (ICAI), she has also qualified the Advanced IT-Training from the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI) as well as RKCL-RSCIT (Rajasthan State Certificate course in Information Technology) with distinction marks thus bringing proficiency in IT and versatile skill set to her role. With three years of CA Articleship experience in Mumbai after qualifying CA-Intermediate examination, she has extensive industry experience in Tax Audit, Bank Audit, Branch Audit, Internal Audit and working knowledge of ROC filing; she has honed her expertise in Corporate Laws, Accounting, and Taxation which complements her teaching focus on GST, Income Tax and Corporate & Allied Laws. Currently pursuing Ph.D., her research interests are mainly Stock Market, Corporate Social Responsibility and Taxation areas. Her commitment to excellence and practical insights from her professional background makes her a valuable asset to the organisation.
