Dr. Indira Sharma's research interests are Environmental Education, Science Teaching, Geography Teaching and Educational Problems. She has published 15 research papers in different journals like Journal of All India Association for Educational Research, Experiments in Education, Behavioural Scientist. Her work experience includes 3 years in school teaching and 21 years in university teaching. She has been president of Bharat Vikas Parishad for Management Committee in Intermediate School. She is member of AIAER, National Psychological Corporation, CTE and executive editor of FOERA- A Research Journal of DEI. She has Guided a number of M.Ed. & M.Phil. Dissertation and Ph.D. in the area of the interest.
