Dr. Shweta Agarwal is an accomplished academician with a distinguished background in Education and Home Science. She holds a Ph.D. in Education from Dayalbagh Educational Institute, Agra, and has qualified for the UGC-NET in Education. With over 12 years of teaching experience and 8 years of active research involvement, Dr. Agarwal’s academic and professional journey reflects a deep commitment to excellence in teacher education and educational innovation.

Dr. Agarwal's educational foundation includes M.Sc. in Home Science and M.Ed., complemented by a B.Ed. and a B.Sc., making her profile highly interdisciplinary. She has taught a wide range of subjects across D.El.Ed., B.Ed., and M.Ed. programs, including Child Development, Brain-Based Learning, School Organization, Pedagogy of Home Science, Educational Psychology, Teacher Education, and more. Her teaching is marked by creativity, inclusivity, and the integration of modern pedagogical techniques.

Her research interests focus on Teacher Education, Educational Psychology, Educational Technology, and School Environment. She has led and contributed to a research project of the DEI-sponsored STRIDE project titled “Effect of Brain-Based Learning on Educational Aspiration and Logical Thinking of Students at the Upper Primary Level.” She has developed psychological assessment tools, including the “School Environment Scale,” published by the National Psychological Corporation.

Dr. Agarwal has authored a book on Home Science pedagogy and an e-book on Brain-based learning. She has developed e-content and video lectures for Vidya Prasar and the School of Education at DEI. She remains active in academic publishing, having written extensively in reputed journals and contributed chapters to numerous edited books on contemporary issues in education, such as inclusive education, mental health, peace education, and constructivist teaching strategies.

She has presented papers and served as a resource person at national seminars and conferences, including invited lectures for Pre-Ph.D. coursework. She has published 29 research papers in reputed journals. Her recent publications highlight innovative strategies like Art Integrated Learning and Brain-Based Learning to enhance knowledge retention and aspiration among students.

Dr. Agarwal is also actively involved in organizing and participating in workshops and faculty development programs. Notably, she organized national-level workshops on Clay Modelling, Puppetry in Education, and Trauma-Informed Care. She has completed multiple FDPs (07), refresher courses (02), orientation programs (01), National & International seminars, conferences, and workshops (50), maintaining a high professional development and academic engagement standard.
