Dr. Shalini Verma is Assistant Professor in the Faculty of Education, Dayalbagh Education Institute, Dayalbagh, Agra. She obtained B.Sc. degree in Computer Science in 2012, M.Sc. in Mathematics with specialization in applied mathematics in 2015, from Dr. Bhim Rao Ambedkar University. Besides this she obtained B.Ed. degree in 2014, M.Ed. in 2017, and M.Phil in Education in 2018, and Ph.D. in Education in 2023 from Dayalbagh Educational Institute. During Ph.D. her area of research was implementation of Universal Design for Learning in online learning. She qualified JRF (Junior Research Fellow) & NET (National Eligibility Test) in education in 2017. She has been recipient of Director’s Medal of Dayalbagh Educational Institute in Scoring highest marks in M.Phil. (Education) in 2018 Examination. Her research interests include innovations in pedagogy and online teaching and learning, Inclusive Education.

Dr. Shalini Verma has participated in various seminars, conferences and workshops. She has a keen interest in the pedagogy of mathematics and has completed two dissertations one in Ethnomathematics at the post-graduation level and another in Brain-Based learning Strategies as part of her M.Phil. work. She has been interested in developing mathematics content while connecting it with different art forms. She has good knowledge in the field of innovative teaching methods as she has done work in the different pedagogical fields like Ethnomathematics, Universal Design for Learning (UDL), Concrete-Pictorial-Abstract (CPA) Approach, and Brain-Based Learning Strategies.
