Dr. Arti Singh is Assistant Professor in this Esteemed Institute from 20th July, 2011. She was Lecturer at Agra Public Teachers Training College (APTTC), Artoni from 1st December, 2006 to 19th July, 2011. While at APTTC, she conducted- (i) various Psychological Tests like: General Classroom Achievement Test (GCAT); Educational Interest Record (EIR); Vocational Interest Record (VIR); Personal Values Questionnaire (PVQ) and Adult Education Achievement Test (AEAT) and (ii) training on various skills like- Introduction; Stimulus-variation; Explanatory; Black Board; Questioning; Illustrating; Re-inforcement and Closure. During 2006-2011 (i) she organized cultural activities and examinations for B.Ed. and other UG/PG Classes; (ii) acted as an External Examiner for B.Ed. students at the Dayalbagh Educational Institute during 2008-09; acted as a judge (i) for the Cultural Competitions - Eureka’s 2007 organized by BMAS College of Engineering, Keetham, Agra and (ii) at All India Contest of Teacher Trainees Competencies on 29th March 2009 at the Dayalbagh Educational Institute.

Her present research interests and teaching areas are Educational Philosophy; School Administration and Management; Curriculum Development; Value-based Education; Spiritual Education and Consciousness Studies; Methodology of Biology and Science Teaching. She has presented nine research papers at various International and National Conferences and authored an Article on “Role of Information Technology to promote Teacher Education” in a Book entitled “Information Technology and Education – Vision and Prospects”, Edited by Beena Shah, Vice Chancellor, Ruhelkhand University, Bareilly. Dr. Arti is member of the System Society of India (SSI), DEI Chapter. She is co-authoring a book on Scouting and Guiding Programme.

She participates in organizing (i) Scouting and Guiding Programme and (ii) different games and sports for disabled students of DEI and from other institutes.   

She was awarded Director’s Medal for securing first position in M.Ed. in 1999 in DEI. She also obtained Ph.D. in Education in 2003 from DEI and her thesis was entitled as “Paramparagat Bhartiye Chintan mein Chetana-Vigyan, Vichar-Shakti aevam Gyan-Padyati ka Shaikshik Pariprekshya mein Sameekshatmak Addyayan.”
