Dr. Atul Dayal did B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering, M.Tech in Engineering Systems, and Ph.D. from D.E.I., Dayalbagh, Agra. He published 13 research papers in reputed journals and conferences and wrote two book chapters in edited books. Also he had one patent in his name. He is a Nodal Officer U.P. Scholarship since 2020.

Dr. Dayal's is committed to integrating technology and engineering principles to solve real-world problems, especially in the domains of health-oriented product development and intelligent systems.

Awards and Recognition:

• Received Young Scientist Award by the Department of Physical Education and Sports, B.R. Ambedkar University, and Neelam Group of Institutions, in 2024.
• Chaired a session on “Footwear Technology and Smart Footwear” and delivered an invited talk at 2nd International Conference on Multidisciplinary Research; Practice for Sustainability Development; Innovation (ICMRP 2024).

Mr. Arjun Verma has also responsibility of Training and Placement Cell, Department of Footwear Technology  and Faculty coordinator-Boys (Athletics). He published 13 research papers in reputed journals and conferences, and 06 Indian patents. He has organised 03 national workshops and attended three Faculty development programmes.

Awards:

Winner of J. Sinha Roy Memorial Award for his article titled “Design & Development of Low-Cost LDR Shoes” published in August, 2022 issue of JILTA adjudged the Best of all articles published in JILTA in calendar year 2022 with a cash prize of Rs.5001 by a committee consisting of Prof. (Dr.) Sanjoy Chakraborty, OIC, GCELT and Dr. Dipankar Chaudhuri, former Scientist & Head, RCED, CLRI, Kolkata.

Mr .Mayank Agrawal, Working as a Assistant Professor in Department of Footwear Technology, In Faculty of Engineering, D.E.I., Dayalbagh, Agra Since 2020.

He did his B.Sc. Engineering and M. Tech. from D.E.I. in may 2010 and 2018. He was awarded with most prestigious founder medal for best student among all under graduate award in 2010 and director’s medal for securing highest marks in Comparative Study of Religion and Cultural Education in 2010. He represented the university at National level inter University Hindi Debate competition in A.M.U. (2009), Delhi University (2008) and National Co-Operative Society (2007) and won  prizes for Best Team and Best Speaker.

Through placement drive he was recruited in Maruti Suzuki india limited, Punj Lloyad and L&T. He joined Maruti Suzuki India Limited  in June 2010 and worked there as an Assistant Manager for three years.

In this duration he worked in Production planning and Control department, He worked on productivity and capacity enhancement project for mix model weld shop as result of that his team was able to reduce waiting time of Swift Desire in Market.

He worked as a Lecturer in Department of Mechanical Engineering from 2013 to 2020. He Joined Department of Footwear Technology in 2020 and Now a days he is teaching Footwear Material, Footwear Machines and Footwear Testing along with various responsibilities of the Institute.
