D.E.I. Students Participate in Youth Entrepreneur Development Program Organized by Uttar Pradesh Government

A delegation of 100 students from Dayalbagh Educational Institute (D.E.I.) participated in the Youth Entrepreneur Development Program, an initiative launched by the Hon’ble Chief Minister of Uttar Pradesh, Yogi Adityanath. This event, held at the Circuit House on 07-march-2025, was organized under the Yuva Udyami Vikas Yojana, and D.E.I. received a special invitation from the Agra district administration to take part in this significant program.
Apart from D.E.I., students from several government and government-aided higher educational institutions in Agra, numbering around 500-700, actively participated in the event. This program proved to be especially beneficial for D.E.I. students, as the first phase of the Youth Entrepreneur Scheme was successfully implemented, fulfilling the government’s promise of providing interest-free loans of up to ₹5 lakh to young entrepreneurs.
Additionally, under the “One District, One Product” (ODOP) scheme, toolkits were distributed to selected beneficiaries, further facilitating entrepreneurial ventures. For D.E.I. students, this program served as a valuable platform to understand government schemes and explore ways to leverage their benefits effectively.
The D.E.I. delegation was led by Prof. Sumita Srivastava, Dr. Saurabh Mani, and Ms. Surat Kavia, who provided their guidance and support throughout the event. Under their leadership, students engaged actively in the program and gained firsthand insights into the practical aspects of various government entrepreneurial initiatives.
Hon’ble Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, in his address, motivated young participants to take bold steps towards self-employment and entrepreneurship. His speech emphasized the government’s commitment to empowering youth through policy-driven support, thereby helping them become self-reliant.
By attending this event, D.E.I. students gained a deeper understanding of how government policies and initiatives are implemented at the grassroots level. This knowledge will be instrumental in shaping their entrepreneurial journeys and fostering a spirit of innovation in the future.
This enriching experience has not only strengthened their awareness of state-led business development schemes but also inspired them to explore new opportunities in the field of entrepreneurship. The participation of D.E.I. students in such impactful programs reaffirms the institute’s commitment to fostering entrepreneurial excellence among the youth.
