XXXVI National Systems Conference (NSC 2012) at Annamalai University, Tamil Nadu (December 6-8, 2012)

The XXXVI National Systems Conference (NSC 2012) was organized by Department of Electronics and Instrumentation Engineering, Faculty of Engineering and Technology, Annamalai University, Tamil Nadu from December 6-8, 2012.

The Inaugural Function was addressed by Prof. Madan Gopal, Director, School of Engineering, Shiv Nadar University, Noida; Prof. Kalra, Director IIT Rajasthan and President SSI; and Prof. S. Velusami, Dean, Faculty of Engineering and Technology, Annamalai University. Lifetime Achievement Award of SSI was conferred on Mr. S.C. Chetal, Director, Indira Gandhi Centre for Atomic Research, Kalpakkam; Prof. Amitabha Ghosh, Bengal Engineering & Science University Shibpur and Dr. M.C.Vaithilingam, Former Head of Department of Instrumentation Engg., Annamalai University. SSI National Systems Gold Medal was conferred on Prof. Sanjay G. Dhande, former Director, IIT Kanpur. The Varshney award was presented to Mr. Subramanya Udupa, Control Systems Group, ISRO Satellite Centre, Bangalore. SSI Vikram award was presented to Mr. G Satheesh Reddy, Director, Inertial Systems, Research Centre Imarat (RCI), Hyderabad. Young Scientist Award was presented to Dr. Deepak Mishra, Department of Avionics, Indian Institute of Space Science and Technology Trivandrum and Mr. Baby Sebastian, Section Head, Servo System Design Section, VSSC Thiruvananthapuram. The AGM of SSI was held after the Inaugural Function.

XVIII National Systems Conference (NSC 2013) December 5-7, 2013 IIT Jodhpur

The XVIII National Systems Conference (NSC 2013) will be organized by Centre of Excellence in Systems Science, IIT Jodhpur, from December 5-7, 2013 on the theme “Systems Thinking in Social Innovation and Emerging Technologies”.
