Teaching Profile and Achievements

B.Sc. Engineering in 1995 in Mechanical Engineering and M.Tech. in1998 in Engineering Systems from Dayalbagh Educational Institute. He is now working for rejuvenation of foundry industry in his research during Ph.D. in the Dept. of Mechanical Engineering, Faculty of Engineering, Dayalbagh Educational Institute, Agra, India.

Purshottam Kumar is Lecturer in Mechanical Engineering Department with more than 14 years of experience in teaching in DEI. He has also served DEI in Computer Centre as a programmer. His teaching interests are Manufacturing Process, Production Technology, Elements of Mechanical Engineering and Engineering Materials and other Mechanical subjects. His research interests include foundry technology, ergonomics, bio-medical engineering and soft computing applications in foundry industry. He is an eminent researcher and has authored more than 12 research papers with awards of best Technical Research Paper in ‘EVME 2011’. He is Co- Principal Investigator working on a research project sanctioned by UGC, New Delhi, India. He is a life member of the Systems Society of India.
