Arts is one of the oldest faculties which was started in the year 1932. Being the oldest and the biggest faculty of the university it has number of programmes which are varied in nature.
The Programmes are in association with other faculties of University, having an inter deciplinary approach. The contents are extremely rich with dance, drama, music, painting, designing on one one side to English, Hindi, Sanskrit and Home Science on the other.
All these programmes have a unique feature of work based training which helps the students with not only the theorotical knowledge of the subject but the practical vocational knowledge where a student learns and is trained for a particular trade.
