About the Department:

Welcome to the Department of Civil Engineering at Faculty of Engineering, Dayalbagh Educational Institute. Since its inception in 2013, the Department is committed towards the academic and professional enrichment of students, service to the engineering community and society, and encourages advancements in Civil Engineering and allied fields. The Department has a well-defined academic program, dynamic young faculty, state-of-the-art experimental and computational facilities and an active industry-institute interaction.

The Department currently offers B.Tech. in Civil Engineering, M.Tech. in Engineering Systems, and Ph.D. in Civil Engineering. Specializations in Architectural Technology and Computer Science are also offered in the undergraduate program. Department offers an innovative curriculum with project-based learning to cater to the needs of industry and academia.

Besides academic enrichment of students, the program also emphasizes on teamwork, communication skills, entrepreneurial skills, tools and skills for professional practice and lifelong learning. We strive to ensure that our graduates understand professional ethics and the value of service to their profession and society.

The Department is involved in various research projects from prestigious government agencies like DST, AICTE & MOE. It is also engaged in industrial consultancy of organization of repute such as Agra Smart City, U.P. Jal Nigam, U.P. State Tourism Corporation, and Indian Railways. The Department is continually upgrading itself in terms of academic programs and research infrastructure.
