In continuation of the Alumni Connect Lecture Series, the Department of Management organized third series of guest lectures for MBA and BBA students, aiming to bridge the gap between theoretical knowledge and practical applications in the professional world. These lectures were designed to expose students to the latest industry trends, enhance their understanding of real-world challenges, and equip them with essential skills for career advancement. By engaging with experienced professionals, students gained valuable insights into diverse areas of management and career planning.

Speaker 1: Ms. Shobhita Bisarya

The management department had the privilege of hosting a guest lecture by Ms. Shobhita Bisarya, a professional from Marks & Spencer Ltd. The guest lecture given by Mr. Vivek Dayal, 40 years experienced professional from the Merchant Navy Shipping industry was focused on “Personality Development,” provided students with valuable insights into how cultivating a strong and positive personality can significantly enhance personal and professional growth. Mr. Dayal highlighted following major points:

à The importance of Self-Awareness in Personality Development: Mr. Dayal began the session by stressing the importance of self-awareness as the foundation for personality development. He explained how understanding one’s strengths, weaknesses, values, and goals can lead to better decision-making, confidence, and improved interpersonal relationships.
