About the DEI Distance Education Programme

 

 

 

 

The Distance Education programme of DEI was launched in the year 2004 to extend the benefits of its high quality innovative, and value-based education to all sections of society, especially the weaker sections and women residing in remote, backward and tribal areas. Aimed towards their empowerment and economic development, a number of employment-oriented vocational programmes are offered with very nominal fees.

  • * To extend the benefits, via distance education mode, of the Dayalbagh Educational Institute's innovative, value-based and comprehensive educational system with the mission objective of evolving a 'complete man' (i.e., a well-rounded total quality person) to all sections of societ

  • *  To train weaker sections of society in vocational skills to make them employable
  • *  To facilitate empowerment of women via development of working skill
  • * To cater to students who have discontinued education or are unable to afford the cost involved in education away from their homes

  • * Unique system with counselling sessions held at Information Centres
  • * Videos, live and web-based lessons
  • * In Semi-synchronous mode, recorded video lectures
  • * In Synchronous or Live mode, lectures broadcast live, in video conferencing mode from D.E.I. through EDUSAT / Polycom over the Internet
