The diploma course of Interior Design & Decoration of the DEI Women’s Polytechnic is a professionally oriented three year course which imparts specialized training in the various aspects of Interior Design and Decoration.
Students are guided to develop creative and technical solutions to a variety of design problems with the inputs about the latest techniques and tools in this area.

Department has been constantly contributing towards linking the subject with Science of Consciousness. In our efforts towards this we have made poster presentation in Concent 2011 on the topic “ Colours& Consciousness” and in the recently concluded Concent 2013 on the topic “ Effect of Ambience and Design on Consciousness”
