Prof. Laxmi Rani Kulshrestha is Professor Emeritus in the Department of Economics, D.E.I, Agra. Her research and teaching areas of interest are Microeconomics, Macroeconomics, Demography, Insurance, and Environment etc. A number of articles written by her, have been published in several National and International  journals namely Monthly Journal on Insurance in India ,The Insurance Times, International Journal of Business, Economics & Management , Research Journal of International Economics, She is the member of Editorial Board of South Asian Journal of Socio political Studies. She has participated in several National and International conferences, seminars and workshops. She has also supervised a number of Ph.D thesis and Dissertations. She has convened an International conference on Economics and Business: Analysis and Applications, and a number of workshops and Seminars.
