" The Textile Design Programs are offered under the umbrella of Faculty of Arts, Technical College, Women Polytechnic and Distance Education, which are PG Diploma, Diploma and Certificate.
With the modest inception in 1988 with the certificate program, 1991 saw the introduction of PG Diploma in Textile Designing under Department of Drawing and Painting, from where the journey started, today Textile Designing is being run in 16 centres around the country.
With excellent placements, 1 Phd desertation MHRD vovational project, UGC minor research project, 175 research desertations completed, more than 25 exhibitions held, numerous national and international dignitaries visit to see the high standard of work being taught here.
