NITI AAYOG selected DEI PREM VIDYALAYA, Dayal Bagh, Agra to set up Atal Tinkering Lab

NITI AAYOG has selected Prem Vidyalaya to establish its pet project Atal Tinkering Lab (ATL) speaks volumes about the School’s appetite for innovation and its pedagogy. The students of Prem Vidyalaya will have a bigger canvas to ideate and learn new technologies. ATLs are dedicated workspaces where students (Class 6th to Class 12th) learn innovation skills and develop ideas that will go on to transform India. The labs. are powered to acquaint students with state-of-the-art equipment such as 3D printers, robotics & electronics development tools, IoT & sensors etc. The lab activities are designed to spur the spark of creativity, and go beyond regular curriculum and textbook learning. The labs will let students explore skills of the future such as design and computational thinking, adaptive learning and artificial intelligence. Niti Aayog, Govt. of India, shall provide financial support in the form of grant-in-aid to setup and maintain the ATL in school premises. Objective of ATL is to foster curiosity, creativity and imagination in young minds. Students will get a chance to work with tools and equipment to understand what, how and why aspects of STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Maths).
