With the purpose of an overall development of the students and to inculcate in them, human values, the following Core courses in PV are compulsory for all students according to their semesters:
- Comparative Study ofReligion, introduce all religions and religious movements to instil an attitude of tolerance and a sense of national integration as well as infuse moral and spiritual values in the students.
- Cultural Education, to make students understand and adapt to the cultural values of our country.
- Environmental Studies, refers to the process that allows students to explore and understand the issues and take actions to improve it.
- General Knowledge and Current affairs, helps in enhancing the academic level of students in many areas and also establish a connection of the student with the world.
- Computer: helps the students in learning new skills and advance technology.
- Work Experience: For the students of standard IX-XII, the College, offers the following work experience courses, from which they can pick one of their choice, in accordance with their subjects/stream.
- Home Science: Stitching & Embroidery of different types of Bags, Pillow Covers and Kitchen Napkins.
- Arts: Block Printing, Appliqué Work, Painting, Patch Work, Soft Toy Making, Fabric and Oil Painting, Products from Waste Material.
- Science: Charts and Model-Making.
- Co-curricular Activities:Cultural & Literary activities, Games and Sports, and Discipline are a compulsory part of the curriculum for the all-round development of the personality of each individual student.
