IEEE Student branch DEI is a community, operated by the Engineering students of DEI
and their mentors for the development of students in the area of research and
industrial applications. We organize various technical and research-based events, webinars with experienced researchers and industry specialists for the students. We also encourage students
to participate in several conferences and competitions organised by IEEE for their overall development.
The Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers, or IEEE, is a technical professional organisation. While it has electrical and electronics engineering at its core, it’s composed of engineers, scientists and other professionals, who have interests in electrical and computer sciences, engineering, and varied, but related disciplines. It’s dedicated to fostering technological innovation and excellence for the benefit of humanity. It does so by sponsoring conferences, publishing journals, and magazines, developing standards, and through its educational programs. It’s the largest professional association in the world!
IEEE Student Branch, Dayalbagh Educational Institute aims to be a premier technical community, committed to the cause of spreading knowledge and fostering all round development of the student community. Dr. Rajeev Kumar Chauhan(M'10, SM'15) is working with the Department of Electrical Engineering at the Dayalbagh Educational Institute (Deemed to be University), Agra, India. He is also serving as a Counselor for IEEE Student Branch at Dayalbagh Educational Institute, Agra. His responsibility to supervise the Ph.D./M.Tech/B.Tech students. Previously he served as the Projects head of the Department of Electrical Engineering/ Department of Electronics and Instrumentation Engineering at Galgotias College of Engineering and Technology, Greater Noida, India, He has also worked as a Visiting Scientist at the University of Texas at Austin USA and Research Scientist, University of Manchester, UK.
