Introduction
‘Chetna 2015’ is an ideation competition to identify and reward DEI-wide students for their innovative ideas to solve social challenges facing the nation and the world. The emphasis of the competition is on finding answers to real-world problems, through innovative approaches, products, services, or ventures. ‘Chetna 2015’ challenges DEI students--individuals or teams--to propose original solutions to present-day social problems in the following primary domains: Education (Culture, Values and Quality), Energy, Health, Water, and Waste Management. This initiative intends to nurture young minds and help their ideas come to fruition through channelized guidance and mentorship by industry experts.
The competition is open to all currently enrolled DEI students within each existing mode of education (V/e – DEI – de):
a. Vocational Education;
b. Conventional Education; and
c. Distance Education.
Ideas presented can be in any stage of development, but must be original in that they have not received any prior funding through any other agency / governmental scheme.
