Having teaching experience of 28 years for undergraduate & post graduate classes. His field of research is Vector Control technology specially mosquito control. Under his supervision, 10 students have got their Ph.D degree and 1 is ongoing. The bioefficacy of more than 30 plants and 6 microbial agents against mosquito larvae has been evaluated in his laboratory. He is Fellow of Royal Entomological Society (London), Fellow of Academy of Environmental Biology and Fellow of Society of Advances in Biosciences and Life member of National Academy of Vector Borne Diseases (India). He is member in editorial board of five international journals. He has examined several Ph.D thesis of other Indian Universities. He has Visited Japan, Russia, China and Australia for participation in academic events. He has published more than 76 papers in various reputed national and international journals and also participated in 30 national & international conferences. Three review articles and two dictionaries are published.
He has reviewed more than 90 papers and articles received from national and international research establishments such as Journal of Environmental Biology, Bioresource Technology (Elsevier Publishers UK), Acta Tropica (Elsevier Publishers UK), Ecotoxicology and Environmental Safety (Elsevier Publishers UK), Biological Control (Springer), Journal of Biological Science (Academic Journals USA), Journal of Entomology (Academic Journals USA), Journal of Agronomy (Academic Journals USA), Folia Microbiologica (Springer), African Journal of Microbial Research, Global Research Journal of Microbiology, Journal of Microbiology and Antimicrobials, African Journal of Agricultural Research, Journal of Clinical Pathology and Forensic Medicine, Brazilian Journal of Medical and Biological Research.He has also filed a patent (No. #298/DEL/2008 dated 04.02.2008).
