Dr. Priyanka Gautam
Assistant Professor

Dr. Priyanka Gautam’s area of teaching are cell and molecular biology, environmental microbiology, developmental biology, molecular genetics, food microbiology and bioinformatics. Her research interest areas are neurotoxicology, neurodegenerative studies, molecular biology and bioinformatics. She has 07 years of teaching experience at graduate and post-graduate level. She has published 13 research papers in reputed international and national journals. She also presented her paper in various International and National conference and she also participated in many national and international workshops and symposium. She is also Life-time member of the Academy of Environmental Biology, Lucknow, Member of System Society of India, Dayalbagh Chapter, Agra.

Achievements

• Sanctioned a research project entitled "Effect of selected pesticides on expression of human ortholog neurodegenerative genes in Caenorhabditis elegans” by the Science & Engineering Research Board (SERB), a statutory body of the Department of Science & Technology (DST), Government of India with Total cost of 38, 81,000.00.
• Awarded third prize in Poster presentation entitled “Evaluation of Cyfluthrin Pesticide Toxicity on the Age-related Endpoints of Caenorhabditis elegans” in National Seminar on Environmental Changes and its Impact on Faunal Diversity in Indian Agro-ecosystems in Punjab Agricultural University, Ludhiana organized by ZSI, Kolkata on November 19-20, 2018.
