All teaching staff members have independent access to a PC and internet in the Department. Laptops are used during extension activities. The department has well equipped laboratories that include Graphic, Commercial Art, Painting, Mural, Textile, Batik, Digital laboratories. It also provides its facilities to the Inter faculty students and women’s polytechnic. The Department also has a library with text and reference books.

The department has enhanced its learning resources in the past five years. It has procured a Interactive Board, LCD, Video Camera, Digital Camera, Plotters, Audio-Visual Equipments, Laptops for developing e-content and for adding new experiments. Video lectures and live demo of eminent artists and subject experts have also been used to supplement teaching.

The traditional lecture method has been augmented by extensive use of ICT that includes Interactive Board, audio-videos and Power-point presentations. Group Discussions and Research Colloquia along with Guest lectures from eminent artists are now integral components of the teaching-learning experience in the department.
