Prof. Vibha Rani Satsangi, currently Dean, Faculty of Science and Head Deptt. of Physics and Computer Science is working in Dayalbagh Educational Institute, Dayalbagh, Agra (India)  since 1983. After completing her postgraduation in physics with specialization in solid state physics from Gorakhpur University, Gorakhpur, she received Ph.D. from Agra University in 1985. Her research area includes, Condensed Matter Physics, Nanostructured Metal Oxide, quantum dots, CNTs and electrochemistry. At present she is working in cutting edge area of Solar Induced Hydrogen Production, which involves preparation, modification and characterization of nanostructured metal oxide for its use as photoelectrode in Photoelectrochemical Cell for generation of hydrogen. She is fellow of International Association of Hydrogen Energy and Optical Society of India, member of System Society of India, IETE.Published about 100 research papers in International journals of repute, supervised many PhD’s and delivered invited talks and chaired sessions in many National and International Conferences in India and abroad. Reviewer of many reputed journals e.g. Int. J. Hydrogen Energy, J. of Physical Chemistry and DST-SERB research projects etc. Visited to many Institutes of International fame like University of North California, Chapel Hill,University of Maryland, College Park, Maryland, Iowa State University, Amesand University of Waterloo, Canada.

 She has completed asPI and Co-PI,11 research project worth Rs 1.8 crore funded from University Grant Commission, Department of Science and Technology, Govt. of India, BRNS etc.   Funded project worth Rs 1.5 crore is ongoing from DST and MNRE India. She has been one of the investigators in the two international projects 1.  DST-NSF- MWN project with three Investigators of DEI and three from University of Maryland, College Park on “Transition Metal Oxide based Nanoarchitectures for Photoelectrochemical Hydrogen Generation” (2008-2012) Approx. Amount Rs. 35,00,000/-.  2. Indo-Us 21st century Knowledge Initiative Grant of Rs 1.17 crores for three years (2015-2018) by UGC for the project “Semiconductor/Chip/Chiplet based Novel approaches for efficient splitting of water; with two investigators of Arizona state University USA and three from DEI, India.
