IIPC Industry institute partnership cell
The Industry-Institute Partnership Cell (IIPC) of DEI was established in 2002 with sponsorship from AICTE with a view to forge meaningful bonds with industry. The Cell apart from providing consultancy and testing facilities to different industrial houses, helps to organize short-term courses, seminars and lectures by eminent industry persons at the Institute level. As a result of endeavours of IIPC, the quality and level of the student placements from the Institute has got a tremendous fillip in its short span of existence. It is envisaged that IIPC will further develop meaningful linkages with industry through mutually beneficial collaborations.
Industry interaction is the round the year phenomena in the department. Faculty Training and Placement Cell believes in building long term mutually beneficial relationship with the corporate world. This is evident from the fact that most of our recruiters engage with us in activities beyond placement like conducting pre-placement talks, workshops, sessions and being knowledge partners for the student activities. Some of the recruiters are HDFC Bank, HDFC Ltd., Centurion Bank of Punjab, AC Nielsen, Armacell, Reliance Money, HCL Technology, Sri Ram Fibres Limited., Escorts Mutual Fund, Headstrong, State Bank of India, American Express Bank, Phillips, DCM Shriram Consolidated Limited., Make My Trip.Com, Future Group, Tata Consultancy Services etc.

The activities undertaken by IIPC include:

• Providing consultancy in various streams of management.
• Organizing Short-Term Courses in the fields of Leadership, General Management, Financial Management, Human Resource Management, Marketing Management, and Systems Approach to Management.
• Coordinating with the Placement Cell.
• Arranging Summer Training of the students of various faculties.
• Conducting Workshops on Resume writing, Facing Interviews and Group Discussions.
• Coordinating activities related to entrepreneurship development.
