Prof. Savita Srivastava’s major research interests are peace education & human right education; total quality management; education for all; environment education; sociological foundations of education and education for total consciousness. She has published approximately forty research papers/articles in reputed national as well as international journals. She has been the member of several editorial board and peer reviewer in India and abroad for ten years. She has been guiding thesis and dissertation for twenty years and evaluated the thesis in Hindi, English and one in Marathi (translated into English from Marathi, Shivaji University, Kolhapur, Maharashtra). She has been invited as Chair Person, Resource Person for Talk and chairing the sessions at different colleges and also has been appointed a Visiting Team Member (NCTE) several times. She has been empaneled as a Selection Committees for the appointments of principals, HODs and teachers at university level. Several times she had been invited for Radio Talk and Paricharcha at Akaskvani. She had been designated as a District Resource Person by Centre for Culture Resource and Training, CCRT under the aegis of Ministry of Culture, Govt. of India.  She had also visited two times University of Arizona, Tuscon, USA for the conference of consciousness, TSC.

 Prof. Kapoor’s research interests are Educational & Child Psychology and Distance Learning. She has published 32 research papers /articles in reputed National & International Journals like Indian Journal of Adult Education, Adhunik Bharteeya Shiksha (NCERT), Journal of All India Association for Educational Research, Behavioural Scientist, Indian Journal of Educational Research and Journal of Psychometry & Education, International Journal of Arts and Humanities, The Science of Consciousness (TSC),etc.  She has guided and evaluated number of Ph.D. Thesis and Dissertations in both the disciplines Home-Science as well as Education. She has been an executive and organising member of various workshops/ seminars/Conferences organised by the faculty.  She has acted as resource person for various seminars and training programmes of Non Formal Education (NCERT) and other disciplines. She has been on the panel of selection committees for appointment of teachers & principal and VT member of NCTE. She has worked on UGC and State Projects on Non Formal Education. 

 

 

 

  After completing M.Ed. from Regional College of Education (NCERT) Ajmer Prof. Chandel Joined Dayalbagh Educational Institue in 1988.His research interests are Educational Technology (Non-Verbal communication and Information Technology), Population Education and Teacher Education. He has published 45 research papers and articles in national & international journals. Prof. Chandel has attended more than 60 national & international conferences, seminars, workshops and training courses. He has published 4 books. He has 32 years of teaching and research experience in Education. He guided about 32 M.Ed. & M.Phil. Level dissertations, 3 Ph.D. Degrees have been awarded and six are going on under his supervision.  He has completed 4 research projects. He was convener of various national level workshops and seminars organized by Faculty of Education, DEI. He was nominated as member of verification team by NCTE   He has been nominated as member of working group on curriculum for existing teacher education program constituted by NCTE. He is member and ex-joint secretary of All India Association of Educational Research (AIAER) and Council of Teacher Education (CTE), U.P. Chapter. He has acted as resource person, delivered key note addresses, chaired sessions, delivered lectures in many conferences, seminars, workshops, orientation programs and refresher courses.

 

 

Professor Nandita Satsangee has been engaged in teaching and research at DEI since 1994. She has been involved in the teaching ofPedagogy of English as a Second language, Curriculum Development, Education for Sustainable National Development and Entrepreneurship in Education among other subjects. Her research interests include Courseand Material Development for Teacher Training in ESL, Holistic Education, Innovative Approaches to Teaching, and Development of Intuition as a mode of acquiring knowledge with a several presentations and publications in national and international forums. She has also visited several universities in UK and USA for academic exchange. At present she is leading the School of Education which is the status granted to her Faculty by the MHRD to act as a pace setting institution in Teacher Education in the country.

Prof. K.C. Vashistha is presently working as Dean-Faculty of Education and Head-Department Foundations of Education in Faculty of Education, Dayalbagh Educational Institute (Deemed University), Dayalbagh, Agra. He had an exemplary track record in the field of Research Methodology and a dozen of candidates have been awarded Degree of Ph.D. under his supervision. His field of specialization is Inclusive Education and Learning Disabilities of various kinds. He is prolific writer and has 6 Books to his credit, covering various areas of Education. He continuously served as an expert in various panels and selection committee of different universities and State Public Service Commissions. He had successfully organized various National and International Seminars, workshops on the topic of Global Interest including Environmental Education, Continuous Comprehensive-Evaluation and Grading system, Learning Activity Based Lesson Planning and Emerging Trends in Research Methodology in Global Perspectives etc. He had also worked as Editor-in-Chief for the widely acknowledged Journal of Educational Research in Academia named as DEI-FOERA: A Research Journal- An Annual Publication and at the same time worked in the editorial panels of a number of other Research Journals of high repute. He also worked as a consultant in UNICEF Project on Tribal Women's Education in Madhya Pradesh. He is the Life member of a number of reputed Academic and Educational Bodies viz. Indian Science Congress, Indian Council of Social Science Research, Indian Environmental Association, and Association of Teacher Education etc. He has long association with National Apex Bodies like NCERT, NUEPA, UGC, and RCI in different capacities and assignments.

Prof. Anand Pyari's research interests are Child Psychology, Educational Psychology and Parenting Styles. She has published 22 research papers/articles in journals like Journal of All India Association for Educational Research, Behavioural Scientist and Bharatiya Shodh Patrika. She has been working for 37 years in Faculty of Education, DEI. She is the convener of Placement Cell, Faculty of education. She was awarded Chancellor's Gold Medal in M.Ed. Currently she is member of The Systems Society of India, DEI Chapter; Indian Science Congress, and Alumni Association of Dayalbagh Educational Institute (AADEI's).
