PROGRAMME OUTCOME FOR B.ED.

On successful completion of the two-year B.Ed. programme, pupil teachers will be able to develop-

Po1.     Teaching competency: Know, select and use of learner-centred teaching methods, understanding of paradigm shift in conceptualizing disciplinary knowledge in school curriculum, necessary competencies for organizing learning experiences, select and use of appropriate assessment strategies for facilitating learning.

Po2.     Pedagogical skills: Applying teaching skills and dealing with classroom problems.

Po3. Teaching Through Nonconventional Modes: Evolving a system of education which enhances the potential of every learners to acquire, retain and transform knowledge leading to wisdom society through creative, experiential and joyful modes of learning.

Po4. Integration of Artificial Intelligence in Education: Transform the educational landscape by providing open access to quality, value based and socially relevant education to all by harnessing the disruptive potential of AI.

Po5. Critical Thinking: Analysis of Curriculum, construction of blue print, selecting appropriate teaching strategies according to needs of students and conducting action research to solve classroom problems.

Po6.     Effective Communication: Presenting seminar before peer students and teachers and practicing communication skills through various linguistic activities and applying it for better classroom communication.

Po7.     Sensitivity Towards Inclusion: Identifying the diversities and dealing it in inclusive classrooms environment, guidance and counselling programmes for disabled students.

Po8.     Content Analysis: Analyse thetext-books and syllabus.

Po9.     Effective Citizen Ethics: Understand different values, morality, social service and accept responsibility for the society.

Po10.   Self-directed Learning: Preparing scripts for seminars, lesson plans and online content.

Po11.   Social Resilience: Understand about social entities and enable to tolerate absorb, cope up with adverse conditions of life.

Po12. Physical Development: Practice yoga, self-defence, sports and scouting-guiding.

Po13. Team Work: Enable to work as a member or leader in diverse teams and in multi-disciplinary settings by following the principles of collaborative learning, cooperative learning and team teaching.

PROGRAMMES SPECIFIC OUTCOMES FOR B.ED.

PSO1. Enable to comprehend the development in physical, cognitive, social and emotional areas, contemporary issues and educational policies of education system in India, teaching-learning methods, strategies, epistemological basis of education, school management, professional ethics and observation of school activities by school internship.

PSO2.Understand the individual differences among students, measuring the attainment, evaluating progress, and assessing learning abilities, guidance programmes and administering psychological tools, ICT based Communication and teaching and lesson planning. 

PSO3.Practice teaching in Schools, inculcate the real experiences of classroom teaching and online teaching for remote areas’ students by using ICT and its different tools and software.

PSO4.Understand the classroom diversities and enable them to deal with diverse learners in inclusive classroom setup, education for human rights and women empowerment, environmental education and developing online content.

PROGRAMME OUTCOME FOR M.ED.

On successful completion of the two-year M.Ed. programme, scholars will be able to develop-

PO1.  RESEARCH SKILLS: Understand different research methods, Equipping scholars with relevant tools and techniques, Data collection and analysis by using statistical measures, use of conceptual understanding in practical research work and writing a research report.

PO2.    SELF STUDY: Self study component helps in self directed learning as it gives opportunity to student to study in depth about a particular issue and gain knowledge.

PO3.    ANALYTICAL AND INTERPRETATIVE SKILLS: Enhance the analytical and interpretation skills of data,Scholars are well trained in using statistical measures, softwares (SPSS) (MS EXCEL) etc.

PO4.    LEADERSHIP AND MANAGEMENT SKILLS: The course focuses on formulating and implementing leadership and management skills. The course will provide the students with a systematic framework for understanding the school management and its different strategies.

PO5.    ENTERPRENEURIAL SKILLS: Understand the concept of entrepreneurship and skill sets of an entrepreneur and develop skills for a business, exploration of different challenges of real life situation.

PO6. DECISION MAKING SKILLS: Enable them to solve various problems of school management and classroom management.
PO7.  USE OF TECHNOLOGY: Understand the innovative technology and tools of ICT and their use in teaching learning environment. Use of ICT in esearch perspective, design and develop ICT integrated learning resources, analysis and interpretation of the research data with the help of ICT.
 
PO8.    RELATIONSHIP BETWEEN SCHOOL AND SOCIETY: Understand the social norms and educate the students accordingly and expected change in society through education and values.
PO9. SOCIAL RESILIENCE: Understand about social entities and enable to tolerate absorb, cope up with adverse conditions of life.
PO10. EFFECTIVE CITIZEN ETHICS: Understand different values, morality, social service and accept responsibility for the society.
PO11. ASSESSMENT SKILLS: Identify areas of primary and secondary education assessment, construction of tools, assess syllabi and text book of primary and secondary education.
PO12.  STRUCTURING THE CURRICULA: Understand the basis, principles and process of curriculum development at primary and secondary level.
 
PROGRAMME SPECIFIC SKILL FOR M.ED.
PSO1. Understand the social structure, multiculturalism, socialization and social and education equity. Reform and revamp of teacher education in India. Get involved with the various activities and system of teacher education.
PSO2. Understand the historical political and economy aspect of education, learn to apply various research methods and academic writing for educational research. ICT for research and innovative teaching methods.
PSO3. Understand about various philosophies and their role in education. Expose the aims, learning strategies, discipline and experiences of education. Inculcate the entrepreneurship skills and self development.
 

PROGRAMME OUTCOME FOR M.Phil.

On successful completion of the M.Phil. programme, pupil teachers will be able to develop-

PO1. Specialized knowledge:The students acquire advanced knowledge of literature and theory in their area of specialization and related interdisciplinary areas.

PO2. Research skills: Equipping scholars with relevant tools and techniques of research so that they can identify and study intricate issues in various domains of management.

PO3. Expertise in statistical analysis: Scholars are well trained in using statistical softwares (SPSS).

PO4. Self directed learning: Self study component helps in self directed learning as it gives opportunity to student to study in depth about a particular issue and gain knowledge.

Programmes Specific Outcomes

PSO1.Enable the students to formulate research questions, addressing social and organizational issues, able to apply scientific methods and theoretical insights to address real-world business and societal challenges.

PSO2: Enable them to develop an appreciation for the importance of balancing between rigor and relevance in teaching and research, develop skills for effective oral and written communication of scholarly findings and to comprehend the policies and plans related to the field of education

 

PROGRAMME OUTCOME FOR D.EL.ED.

On successful completion of the two-year D.El.Ed. programme, pupil teachers will be able to develop-

Po1.     Teaching competency: Teaching competency developed through microteaching, simulated teaching.           

Po2.     Pedagogical skills: Detailed knowledge of the subject, perfected teaching skill –  marked  by  implementation  of  new  methods  and techniques into educational activities and also distinguished  by  the  incorporation  of  essentially new, progressive theoretical ideas, principles and methods of training and education

Po3. Teaching Through Nonconventional Modes: Evolving a system of education which enhances the potential of every learners to acquire, retain and transform knowledge leading to wisdom society through creative, experiential and joyful modes of learning.

Po4.     Critical thinking:developing critical thinking skills of the students through a number of activities like classroom discussions, debates, and presentations of seminar topics by students followed by question-answer session etc.

Po5.     Effective communication:facilitating the students to develop skills of reading, writing, listening and speaking to add to their communication ability in English and Hindi as well to connect them with the world around and for best teaching-learning purpose.

Po6.     Management of the classroom:maximizing efficiency, maintaining discipline and morale, promoting teamwork, planning, communicating, focusing on results, evaluating progress, and making constant adjustments. A range of strategies are employed to promote positive relationships, cooperation, and purposeful learning. Organizing, assigning, and managing time, space and activities ensure the active and equitable engagement of students in productive tasks.

Po7.     Sensitivity towards inclusion:  developing sensitivity towards language diversity and inclusion in the classroom and its role in teaching- learning process.

Po8.     Self-directed learning:to provide the necessary practical exposure to self- directed learning and self study methods so as to equip the learner with knowledge acquiring skills as in teaching, administration, ICT.

Po9: Self Discipline and self Control: Promoting self discipline and self control leading to immense amount of awareness, concentration and higher level of consciousness. 

Programmes Specific Outcomes

PSO1.Enable to understand the developmental task of different age groups, providing hands on experiences to interact with children, developing understanding about individual differences among children in the class and organize teaching learning process accordingly, to comprehend teaching competencies and skills through various teaching pedagogies and internship and facilitating the learners to become friendly user of ICT.

PSO2: Enable them to understand the relationship between education and schooling , develop the understanding of educational philosophy propounded by some great western and Indian philosophers and thinkers,  develop the capacity among student teachers to use knowledge of effective verbal, non-verbal and media communication techniques to foster active enquiry, collaboration and supportive interaction in the classroom, provide a rich programme of curricular and co-curricular activities for student teachers for all round development of their personalities

PSO3: To enable the pupil teachers to comprehend and use formal and informal assessment strategies to evaluate and ensure the continuous intellectual social, emotional, mental and physical development of the learners, developing sensitivity towards language diversity and inclusion in the classroom and its role in teaching- learning process and to promote students physical, mental and emotional well being.

PSO4:To enable the pupil teachers to prepare innovative lesson in their respective pedagogical subjects and develop teaching skills and enable them to prepare school records and provide a rich programme of curricular and co-curricular activities for student teachers for all round development of their personalities
