Ankit Sahai is an Associate Professor in Mechanical Engineering Department, Faculty of Engineering, Dayalbagh Educational Institute, Agra, India. He has more than 20 years of  experience in IT Software, teaching and researchHe did his M.Tech. in Applied Mechanics from IIT Delhi and completed Ph.D. in Mechanical Engineering from Dayalbagh Educational Institute in collaboration with IIT Delhi (Applied Mechanics Department). He teaches Fluid Mechanics, Material Science, Mechanical Vibrations, Industrial Engineering, Work Science, Project Engineering & Management and Total Quality Management. His research areas include Additive Manufacturing, 3D Printing, Polymer Composites, Severe Plastic Deformations, Finite Element Analysis. He has 70 papers published in journals and conference proceedings. He has also attended and represented R&D Ericsson India in Test Conference, 2006 in Linkoping, Sweden.  During his stay as Lead – Test Engineering at Globallogic, he received many superstar awards, quarterly award and also Quaterly Excellence award in 2009 for his work and contribution for Rivermine Project, USA.

Dr Ankit Sahai is also state and national level player in Chess and also played Badminton, Table Tennis, Cricket and Football at school, university and at all BHEL Championships.
