Mechanical Engineering Department  International Collaborations

  • DEI has entered into an MOU with University of Maryland College Park.

  • Dr. K. Hans Raj has an ongoing collaboration Prof. J. L. Chenot and Prof. Lionel Fourment of CEMEF Laboratory, France in the area of Finite element modeling of Metal forming processes and their optimization.

  • Dr. K. Hans Raj has been working with with Prof A Srivastav of Christian Albrechts Universitat zu Kiel, Germany in the area of Evolutionary Algorithms for optimization (TSP).

  • Dr. K. Hans Raj has a a collaboration with Prof G S Adhar of the University of North Carolina in the area of Visual Station and Prof. Alok Verma, Old Dominion University, Norfolk, USA in the area of advanced manufacturing systems.

  • Dr. Rahul Caprihan has an ongoing collaboration with Prof. Kathryn E. Stecke of the Operations Management department, University of Texas at Dallas, in the area of scheduling and control of Flexible Manufacturing Systems.

  • Dr. Rahul Caprihan has an ongoing collaboration with Prof. Ashok Kumar of the Seidman School of Business, Grand Valley State University, in the area of Operations Planning, Scheduling and Control of Automated Manufacturing Systems.

  • Dr. Rahul Caprihan has an ongoing collaboration with Dr. Oleg Gusikhin of the Ford Motor Company, Dearborn, MI, USA in the area of in-line vehicle sequencing of automobile assembly lines.  

  • Prof. Hansraj has a collaboration with Prof. Scott Aranson , Department of Computer Science , MIT, USA.

Intra-Faculty : Inter Departmental

  • Dr K. Hans Raj has a collaboration with Dr C. Patvardhan and Dr. D. Bhagwan Das of the Electrical Engineering Department on the use of Evolutionary Algorithms for Metal Forming and Metal cutting problems.
