The Department of Management at Dayalbagh Educational Institute (DEI) was established in 1991 with the launch of the MBA program, aimed at addressing the country's growing need for skilled managerial professionals. In 1993, the BBA program was introduced, and since then, the department has expanded its offerings. The department became an independent entity within the Faculty of Social Sciences in 2006.The vision of the department is to provide high-quality education at an affordable cost, ensuring accessibility for all students, including those from underprivileged backgrounds. Today, the department offers a wide range of programs, including undergraduate degrees in B.B.A. (Regular, Retail, Logistics, Online) and B.Voc. in Banking and Finance, as well as postgraduate programs like M.B.A. (specializations in General Management, Agricultural Management, Waste Management, Entrepreneurship & Venture Development, Integrated), Master of Arts in Business Management (MABM), and Post Graduate Diplomas in Waste Management & Urban Planning and Management.
