Dr. Sanjay Bhushan is a Professor in the Department of Management, Faculty of Social Sciences at Dayalbagh Educational Institute (Deemed to be University), Dayalbagh, Agra 282 005. Prof. Bhushan holds a B.Sc. (Chemistry Hons.), M.B.M., Ph.D. (Business Administration), and NET (Management). He received the M.C.R.E.I. Fellowship of Radhasoami Satsang Sabha, Dayalbagh for his Ph.D. and has 28 years of teaching and research experience since 1997. His research experience spans Ph.D. research, UGC Minor and Major research projects, and supervision of many Ph.Ds., PDFs, M.Com, MBA, and M.Phil. Dissertations. He has supervised a PDF project funded by ICSSR. Prof. Bhushan has served as a consultant for the Population Council of India (PCI) and has developed policy papers for UGC-MHRD, Govt. of India. His recent awards and recognitions include having his research paper listed in the bibliographic collection of The Smithsonian Astrophysical Observatory (SAO)-NASA Data System, and being invited to contribute to a special edition of the London Journal of Research in Science. His research interests include systems dynamics, international business, disaster management, Quantum mechanics, and science of consciousness. He has published over 100 research papers, conference proceedings, and books/book chapters. He has also extensively participated in and organized several national and international seminars, conferences, FDPs, and workshops. He is a life member and member of the executive committee of the System Society of India (SSI), a Member of the Society of Operations Management, AADEIs, System Dynamics Society of India and presently serving as Vice-President, the Association for Transport Development in India (ATDI), New Delhi. His professional credentials reflect significant international recognition, including being ranked in the top 10%, 5%, and 2% of international authors by Elsevier-SSRN, Elsevier Inc., USA, consecutively since 2014 to date.

 

He serves as an Expert Reviewer for the International Journal of Business Excellence and is a member of the Technical Committee on Humanities and Social Sciences at WASET (International Scientific Committee of Humanities and Social Sciences), as well as a member of the World Academy of Science, Engineering & Technology (WASET). His international engagement includes serving as an invited Session Chair at the International Conference on Computational Intelligent System Engineering (ICCISE) in Singapore (2008), an invited member at the System Dynamics Conference in Athens, and an invited expert at a roundtable with a German delegation on skill development and VEP at the PHD Chamber of Commerce and Industry in New Delhi (2015). He has also been an invited expert on the Panel of Reviewers for the Academy of Management, New York, and affiliated groups. He has reviewed numerous international research papers for the Academy of Management (AOM) and various journals, including the International Journal of Intelligent Transportation Systems Research (IJITS), International Journal of Logistics Management, and Asian Journal of Management Research (AJMR), among many others. Prof. Bhushan has served on the editorial boards of numerous international journals, including the Greener Journal of Business and Management Studies and the African Journal of Business Management, and is a member of the Editorial Review Board for the Amity Journal of Business Research (AJBR). He has also been a member of the International Scientific Committee for WASET's International Conference on Disaster and Emergency Management in Japan (2016) and an invited reviewer for Inderscience Publishers. At the International and university level, Prof. Bhushan has convened several conferences, including recently The 6th International Conference on Dayalbagh (Art) Science (& Engineering) of (Evolutionary/Re-Evolutionary) Consciousness (DSC) and 47th (Inter) National Systems Conference (NSC) Systems for Sustainable Development in Quintessential Harmony with Environment (2024). He is a member of the DEI Research and Development Cell and has been the Convener of Inter-Institute Events and DEI Innovation, Quality & Valuation Day since 2014. He has also served as a Visiting Research Faculty at the Indian Institute of Management, Bangalore (IIMB) in 2010 and 2013. Prof. Bhushan has held numerous administrative and academic roles at Dayalbagh Educational Institute, including Coordinator of the DEI Continuing Education Faculty Hostel and Seminar Complex, Coordinator of the DEI Values and Quality Committee, and Faculty Coordinator for Vision 2031. He has been a member of various committees, including the DEI Research & Development Committee, IQAC Committee, and KPI Committee, and has convened the ISO-KPI Committee. He has also coordinated the Central Grade Moderation Committee and the DEI Degree Verification Committee. His contributions extend to serving as a mentor for the Civil Services Examination Guidance Cell, a counselor at the DEI Counseling Center and Clinic for Business Solutions, and a member of the Technical Core Team for Distance Education Programs. He has coordinated the IIPC-Commerce and the Faculty Training & Placement Cell and has been involved in various departmental and faculty boards. He has also served as a Faculty Coordinator for NAAC and has been a member of the Academic Council. Prof. Bhushan has organized numerous university, national, and international events, workshops, seminars, and conferences. He has served as an external examiner for several universities and has been a resource person and invited speaker for the DEI Distance Education Cell. He has also been involved in industrial project coordination and management dual degree programs. Prof. Bhushan is also spearheading a Department of Management, DEI Project- “(A) Augmenting (A) Action for (D) Disaster Management through (I) Indegenous Knowledge(Gyan) –“ AADIGYAN “  and has designed a dedicated webpage (https://aadigyanproject.in/) which is about updating and maintaining a global research database repository in order to promote traditional knowledge digital library Education.
