Dr. Shiv kumar Sharma is serving as Professor in Department of Management at Dayalbagh Educational Institute (Deemed University), Agra. He is associated for over 28 years with the institute. He is also an alumnus of Indian Institute of Management Ahmedabad.
Dr. Sharma is a member of several academic and Professional Bodies of various Universities and Institutes. He is an expert member of bodies of national importance like State Public Service Commissions, AICTE, NAAC and academic councils of various universities. Dr. Sharma has published over fifty research papers/articles in National and International journals and holds three books to his credit. He is one among the members of reviewing committee of various national and international journals. He is also a recipient of best paper award in an International Conference on Business Research and Management Practices in Global Environment on April 2-3, 2015 at Alliant School of Management, Alliant International University, San Diego, CA, USA.
He has evaluated more than twenty dozens Ph.D theses which were referred to him for expert review from across various states of India. He has travelled widely and attended seminars and conferences at international and national levels and also chaired number of technical sessions in many of them. He is a visiting faculty to different business schools of the country.
He has completed one major research project titled “Indigenous Knowledge Management for Disaster Mitigation and Sustainable Development in the Eco-Community Villages of India”. He is currently working on minor project tilted “Education for holistic development: Researching for value and quality-based education Index (VQBEI)”, both financed by University Grant Commission (UGC).
