Area of Interest: Human Resource Management, Organizational Behavior and General Management.
Dr. Bhatnagar is associated for over 17 years with the institute and also an alumnus of Symbiosis, Pune.
His research interest spans over Human Resource Management, Industrial Relations, Strategic Human Resource Management Practices and General Management. He has published over six research papers/articles in National and International journals and holds three books to his credit. He has so far authored of 4 DEI Distance Education books in the area of - Business Organization, Industrial Law, Human Resource Management and Business Environment for DEI Distance Education Centers.
He has to his credit number of distinctions viz. Member- Selection Committee (subject expert) of Dr. B.R.Ambedkar University, Agra, and also he is Member of Affiliation Committee of Dr. B.R.Ambedkar University, Agra.
He has participated around 10 national – international conferences in India and presented research papers and also participated in national seminars and presented different areas papers. He has Chaired National Seminar-At D.A.V. College, Malout (PB).
Dr. Bhatnagar was invited as key note speaker for National Seminar organized At DAV Post Graduate College, Varanasi (Department of commerce) for Innovation in HRM on the topic “ Employee Retention and Motivation Strategies : A tool for Managing Human Resource”.
He has organized one day Workshop on Curriculum Development in Management at DEI to the revamp of courses at both Undergraduate and Postgraduate level of Management programme, and also organized one day special lecture for management students on “Role of HR in Changing Industrial Scenario”
He is also expert member in curriculum revision exercise at the Department of Management, D.E.I. Dr. Bhatnagar is also member of - Indian journal of commerce, Indian Commerce Bulletin- Commerce Association of Kerala and System society of India, Thiruvananthapuram.
He is carrying a research project on “A Study on the Role of Uttar Pradesh Financial Corporation in the Industrial Development of Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises in Agra Region”.
