 Prof. Sunita Kumari Malhotra is currently serving as Professor under the Career Advancement Scheme (CAS) at DEI, and previously as Associate Professor (Selection Grade) from 2016-2019 in the department of Management, Dayalbagh Educational Institute, Agra. Prior to this she served as Sr. Assistant Professor at IITM (Deemed University), Gwalior, and worked as Part-time faculty at ICFAI, Agra Centre.

Prof. Sunita’s research interests are in the areas of Microfinance, Stock Market Investment operations, Entrepreneurship, Operations and Logistics Management, Mutual Fund risk measuring tools, Total Quality Management, etc.

Prof. Sunita Malhotra has authored several books on topics such as Management Accounting, Financial Accounting, Quantitative Techniques, OperationsManagement, etc. which are published by Distance Education Program, D.E.I. she has published several research papers in reputed management journals like Journal of Advances in Management Research (Emerald),European Journal of Business and Management, Prabandhan: Indian Journal of Management, journal of science and technology policy management, emerald publishing limited, Springer Nature Switzerland, Pacific Business Review (International) Journal, MUDRA: Journal of Finance and Accounting, etc.

Prof. Malhotra has received ‘Ace Performer Award’ at IITM-Gwalior.  She has received funding for a Major Research Project entitled, “An Analysis of Accomplishment of Universal Elementary Education: With Special Reference to Uttar Pradesh” from ICSSR, India.

 She is the coordinator of two programmes of the institute, namely B.Voc. (Bachelor of Vocational Course) in Banking and Finance (3-year Graduation Program) and BBA Logistics (Graduation Program).

Prof. Malhotra is an active member of IQAC cell of the institute.  She has presented her research at several reputed institutions including University of Alberta (Edminton), University of Waterloo, University of Toronto with other members of the Entrepreneurship and Virtual Incubation Cell, DEI.
