Dr. A. Charan Kumari is an accomplished academician and researcher with over two decades of teaching and research experience in computer science and engineering. Currently serving as an Assistant Professor at the Dayalbagh Educational Institute, Agra, she has previously held significant academic positions at The NorthCap University, Gurugram, and several reputed institutions across India.

Her primary research interests lie in search-based software engineering, metaheuristic optimization, and machine learning, with an emerging focus on deep learning and its applications in medical diagnostics. Dr. Kumari has made substantial contributions to these fields, evidenced by her impressive publication record comprising 45 international journal papers, 18 international conference proceedings, and 7 book chapters.

An active mentor, she has supervised four Ph.D. scholars and is currently guiding ongoing doctoral research. Her academic engagements include teaching a diverse range of subjects from Artificial Intelligence and Fuzzy Systems to Robotics and Design and analysis of Algorithms. She has also organized national-level workshops and training programs in AI and game development.

Dr. Kumari has represented India at the international level, delivering an invited talk at University College London, and has been a featured speaker at national events like the BIS Stakeholders Conclave 2024. Her leadership roles include serving as SPOC for multiple editions of the Smart India Hackathon, contributing actively to the HRD Cell and Proctorial Committee at DEI.

Her academic excellence has been recognized with several accolades, including the Best Paper Award at IEEE-ICAESM and a Best Teacher Award in Andhra Pradesh. A life member of the Systems Society of India and a long-standing member of CSI, Dr. Kumari continues to inspire students and peers alike through her dedication to academic and research excellence.
