Dr. Anurag Gupta has been serving as an Assistant Professor in the Department of Mechanical Engineering since April 2016. He earned his Master’s and Doctoral degrees from Dayalbagh Educational Institute, Dayalbagh, Agra. He has taught a broad range of courses, including Fluid Mechanics, Hydraulic Machines, Applied Thermodynamics, Internal Combustion Engines, Mechanics of Machines, Graphic Science, Engineering Drawing etc. Dr. Gupta actively mentors undergraduate and postgraduate projects and supervising doctoral research scholars also. His research interests primarily focus on alternate fuels and energy systems. He has presented several research papers at national and international conferences and seminars and has published articles in reputed journals as well as book chapters. In addition to his academic responsibilities, Dr. Gupta has held various administrative and coordination roles, including Institute Nodal Officer for AICTE Scholarship Schemes, TEQIP EAP Coordinator, INO – AICTE Mission Amrit Sarovar, MTech Coordinator, and In-charge of the Applied Mechanics C Material Testing Lab. He has also served as NSS Program Officer, Convener for events such as the Winter Training Camp and the Diamond Jubilee Memorial Lecture, Faculty Volleyball Team In-charge, and Proctor. He has also been involved in coordinating industrial visits and training programs for undergraduate students. Furthermore, he has contributed as a subject expert and examiner for external university examinations, expert member for faculty recruitment in Government Polytechnic Colleges, and jury member for state-level science exhibitions. |
