Dr. Ashok Yadav

Dr. Ashok Yadav is Associate Professor in the Mechanical Engineering Department, Faculty of Engineering, DEI with more than 20 years of experience. He teaches Refrigeration and Air Conditioning, Heat Transfer, IC Engines, Automobile Engineering, Energy System Management, Thermodynamics and Applied Thermodynamics and Renewable Energy Sources. His research interests include renewable energy, alternate fuels, Life cycle analysis, Energy Management and Environment & Ecology. He has completed a DST sponsored research project worth over Rs. 2 crores. Presently, he is engaged in various projects in the areas of Phase change materials (PCM), Bioaerosol and health, Development of Ecofriendly Grain dryer, direct sub-surface water recharge systems (ground water recharging), cooling/heating using Ground Source Heat Pump. He has published more than 40 research papers in reputed International and National Journals and Conferences.  He is member of several professional bodies. Presently, he is Chairman of Institution of Engineers (India), Agra Local Center.
